TIGRIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Tigris Educational Fund aims to support those who wish to broaden their academic opportunities. The fund will finance the educational needs for current and continuing education of participants in form of scholarship. Dedicated to T.S. Leung, an inspirational figure to six children, nine grandchildren, and all those around him, the Tigris Educational Fund hopes to continue his spirit of guidance and to help people develop their careers.
Graduate Student Travel Scholarship
The Graduate Student Travel Scholarship is open to students who are studying Biological or Biomedical Science in the universities of Hong Kong. The scholarship intends to award research students who will present their scientific findings at a relevant conference. Presentations can be oral presentations or posters. Each applicant is eligible for consideration of up to HK$20,000 in funds once a year.
Eligibility
Current full-time graduate students who are studying Biological or Biomedical Science in the universities of Hong Kong and already received the letter of acceptance issued by the conference committee.
Application
- Interested students are required to submit an application to the“Tigris Educational Fund". Following supporting documents must be included in the application:

Post-graduate program transcript;

Undergraduate transcript;

Conference's registration confirmation;
-
Letter of acceptance issued by the conference committee for presentation;

Abstract.

Completed application form and all supporting documents should be submitted electronically in PDF format and send to cecilia@techdragon.com.hk.

The letter of acceptance issued by the conference committee must contain the presentation session information and presentation format.

Application for conference that had already attended before the application deadline will not be considered.

Applications without complete set of supporting document will not be considered.

Applicants will receive a confirmation for the application.
Evaluation schedule

Applications evaluation is in March, June, September and December.

Application deadline for each evaluation is 1st day of the evaluation month.

Successful applications will be informed at the end of the evaluation month.
Scholarship

Scholarship will be delivered to awardees within 4 weeks.

Awardees need to e-mail the conference name badge for the proof of attendance. Failure to submit this document will affect the evaluation for the next application.
